What is Doodleflick?

It is an Mac and IOS application that can be used to create animated doodles.

How much does it cost?

It is absolutely free, during this development phase. Once we have a solid product we intend to provide a low cost premium version. For early adopters the premium version will be free.

Will my data be shared?

Your personal data will remain private. Any animations that you post on this website will be publicly viewable, eventually but the author is in control of the associated information.

Can Doodleflick be downloaded?

Yes you can download Doodleflick. It is a client-based app. While you can access it from any device with an internet connection, you can’t download it as an application.

However, you can download your completed videos and presentations. These can be exported from the web service as a file if you have a paid plan. Free plan users cannot export their Doodleflick creations.

How do you use Doodleflick?

During these testing and evaluation phases you just need to join the development program and download the app.

Seasonal Bugs ------------- * Capture - editing modifier keys, especially for smoothing, which is a pig - drawing offscreen, it would be very useful to allow drawing outside the borders of the canvas Requires a larger canvas and a mask * Keyframe strip - moving and copying is buggy - navigation is erratic * Playback - resizing the window causes the playback canvas (and image) to fit the new size without maintaining aspect ratio * Storage - Saving sometimes fails! But not if we break and step through the process (!)
